As your coach, I will give you my full commitment and support to help to remove any blockages and barriers that are preventing you from living your most fulfilled life.
Walk and talk is exactly that, coach and client walk and talk together during the coaching session. Walking sessions typically take place along parks, paths, across fields and in the woods.
We can meet either in my office, online or on a walk and talk session.
We meet once a week face to face in my office.
Sessions can be conducted over the phone, facetime, Skype or Zoom
We will meet at an agreed location and time. This will be discussed together over the phone or email prior to meeting up. The session will last one hour.
We typically meet once a week to start with and will gradually space the sessions out as you are achieving your goals. Sessions are between 45 minutes to an hour long.
All session content is kept strictly confidential.
What is it? – Walk and Talk is exactly that, the Coach and the Client walk and talk together during the coaching session outdoors. Walking sessions typically take place along parks, on paths, across fields and in the woods.
How is a session structured? – We will meet at an agreed location and time. Prior to meeting up, we will have discussed what we'll do if we meet someone so that you know how your confidentiality will be protected. We won't plan to go far just far enough for the session to last an hour and you will lead the pace. we will talk about what's on your mind, your struggles and life situations you are dealing with at the moment. We might sit on a log or bench so we can reflect on what's been discussed so far. We will finish the session by talking bout the next steps to take and the path ahead.
Why choose a Walk and Talk? – Walk and talk will be beneficial if you are experiencing a range of difficulties including struggling with loss and grief, experiencing anxiety and intense worry, a life change, fear and panic and loneliness.
Why does it work? – Being out in nature is well proven to have huge benefits on our mental health. Exercise can help reduce level of stress, depression and anxiety. Often during a walk and talk session, clients enjoy the experience of movement while walking and might feel more comfortable talking side to side instead of face to face. There is something about being in nature, moving your body and not having the pressure of facing each other.
